Why SERVE?

Our church values volunteering and serving because we believe that faith is best lived out through love in action. Jesus Himself set the ultimate example of service, saying, “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve” (Matthew 20:28). Serving others reflects Christ’s humility and compassion, strengthening both our community and our individual faith journeys. Scripture calls us to use our gifts for the good of others: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace” (1 Peter 4:10). When we serve, we embody God’s love in tangible ways, creating a welcoming and thriving church family where everyone belongs. As Galatians 5:13 reminds us, “Serve one another humbly in love.” Whether through hospitality, teaching, outreach, or acts of kindness, volunteering is a vital part of our mission to glorify God and make a difference in the world.
